Companies in Padborg will now have access to their very own recruitment manager.
Aabenraa Municipality wants to strengthen the companies’ access to labour and has therefore decided to hire Maria Heesch as recruitment manager. Maria will have an office in Padborg Transport Centre on Toldbodvej.
‘I look forward to starting as recruitment manager for JobGateDenmark in Padborg. In my opinion, the project targets a real need that has grown bigger over the last few years’.
‘Through my new position where I am part of GateDenmark in Padborg, I now have the opportunity to service the local companies. Not only in relation to recruitment, but also upgrading the skills of the relevant workforce’.
‘The new development plan for Padborg points precisely to the challenges in the area with recruitment of labour, and I would like to be the focal point in finding employees for the area’s companies. Through my previous work with cross-border recruitment, I know how important it is that there is focus on attracting labour and, not least, retaining the workforce in the area’.
For the past four years, Maria has worked with dissemination of information in the border region and across the Danish-German border. Maria has a background in the furniture industry and, more recently, she has worked in the transportation industry, hereunder as warehouse and logistics manager. Maria is a native of Southern Jutland as she was born and raised on Kalvø. Today, she lives on the peninsular, Løjt Land, with a dog, a husband and two daughters.
