Sunday, June 28 at 11:00 AM, the new motorway bridge at Padborg will be inaugurated – an important milestone for the development of the transport and logistics industry in the area.
The new motorway bridge connects the two major business areas in East and West Padborg and will help create even stronger links between companies, facilities, and future business development opportunities in the Padborg area.
In Aabenraa Municipality’s press release, Mayor Jan Riber Jakobsen states:
“I am extremely pleased that we have now reached the point where we can inaugurate the bridge, which will be a major benefit for companies, employees, and citizens in the area. The bridge will help ensure that the eastern and western sides become one unified area that companies can utilize in the best possible way when creating and using their own facilities and shared service functions. At the same time, the bridge will help ensure that future companies choose to establish themselves north of the border and that we can maintain and further strengthen our position as Northern Europe’s largest Transport and Logistics Centre,” says Mayor of Aabenraa Municipality, Jan Riber Jakobsen.
The inauguration will include an official opening ceremony as well as an open bridge run, where participants can walk, run, or cycle across the new bridge.
