Over the next few weeks, 10 students of engineering from DTU, the Technical University of Denmark, will cooperate with Padborg Transport Centre. Based on the Overall Plan, they will explore Padborg’s growth potential within infrastructure and digital transition.
The students visited Padborg this week, and Director of Padborg Transport Centre Jesper Schimann Hansen gave them an introduction to the industrial area and Overall Plan.
The students also got a chance to tour the area and visit a couple of the member companies as well as the building site west of the motorway, where they discussed possible green solutions. The students now have seven weeks to come up with solutions to problems of their own choosing. The collaboration with DTU was initiated by Business Aabenraa.
DTU offers a similar module twice a year, giving companies and students a unique chance to work together on solving various problems and challenges.
