Last Tuesday, Padborg Transport Centre and Business Aabenraa held an information meeting about future requirements for ESG/CSR reporting.
At the meeting, Lars Dagnæs from TRANSECO2 spoke about the new requirements and ways to get started e.g. calculating the company’s carbon footprint.
Klaus Vestergaard Krogh from Smart Academy then spoke about different approaches to ensuring that your staff are prepared to make sustainability an integrated part of work processes, e.g. through skills upgrading and further training.
This fall, you can take a course in sustainable management in Padborg. More information to come.
Finally, Peter Lind from Erhvervshus Sydjylland offered insight into different avenues for green transition funding. The number of funding opportunities continues to increase, and he encouraged the audience to stay up-to-date via the business centre’s website.
Then it was time to network and share experiences.
What is ESG?
ESG stands for Environmental, Social and corporate Governance and is a way to measure companies’ success on a different set of criteria than financial results, focussing on e.g. the company’s environmental policy and employee satisfaction.
