For some years, Danish transport companies have suffered from theft of and from lorries, fuel and goods. At the same time, the industry is also affected by new crime forms, including IT crime. Together, the police in Southern Jutland, ITD – the trade association for Danish road goods transport and Business Aabenraa have produced the Security Manual, which companies can use as inspiration for improving their security.
The manual is meant as a tool for self-help. It encourages managements and employees to make an active and independent effort in their company and vehicle.
