Padborg Diamonds became Nordic champions at Renault Trucks’ large service market competition RTEC, and in June they will be representing Denmark in the global finals in Lyon.

The Danish RTEC team from Skifter Lastbil A/S in Padborg carried off the victory in the Nordic competition for a place in the global finals to be held at Renault Trucks’ headquarters in Lyon, France this June.

‘We are very proud of our employees’ high level of competence and look forward to the finals, where we will be competing for the position as the world’s best Renault Trucks service market team’, says Managing Director of Skifter Lastbil A/S Morten Lund.

Jan Egegaard Jensen, Head of Competency Development at Renault Trucks Denmark, is also proud: ’In Denmark we have an amazing network of 21 service workshops, where we constantly upgrade the employees’ technical skills, knowledge of Renault Trucks tools and procedures as well as their approach to customer relations. Our distributors’ high demands for quality and expertise enable us to compete among the best in the world, which makes us very proud’.

The 24 best teams in the world, who will be competing in the finals in Lyon in June, must pass a practical test in realistic workshop surroundings.

The aim of RTEC (which stands for Road To Excellence Championship) is to further develop the competences available at Renault Trucks’ authorised workshops and, not least, highlight the great expertise of the employees.

Aside from the chance of becoming the world’s best Renault Trucks service market team, the championship is also a unique opportunity to exchange experiences across national borders.
