8 GateDenmark Companies Awarded CSR Label

Yesterday, Aabenraa Municipality awarded the CSR label 2019 to 67 companies in the municipality. Among these were eight GateDenmark companies, including DTK Group. Key Account Manager Susanne Provstgaard accepted the prize on behalf of DTK.

‘Social responsibility is important to DTK’, said Susanne Provstgaard. ‘As a dynamic company located in Aabenraa Municipality, it is in our interest to help create jobs for citizens who for some reason or other have had a difficult time. Citizens who work as trainees at DTK become an integrated part of the company. And it is clear to them that they and their resources make a difference to us, regardless of whether they help us out a couple or several hours a week’.

Susanne Provstgaard was happy to accept the prize on behalf of the company.

‘The management at DTK is very proud to receive this CSR prize – again. We have applied for the prize because we wish to acknowledge the great effort of our staff, and I know that they will be just as proud as we are when we present them with the prize later today’.

‘And we are not least proud to be able to brand DTK as a responsible company’, Susanne Provstgaard concluded.

Facts About the CSR Label Aabenraa
CSR is short for Corporate Social Responsibility – a concept that focusses on the extent to which companies demonstrate social accountability and take joint responsibility for society. With the CSR Label Aabenraa, Aabenraa Municipality wishes to acknowledge local companies’ contribution to creating jobs and education, for example by employing citizens in internship programmes, flexijobs or as apprentices and trainees.
